Dr. Federici is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. He graduated magna cum laude from the Accelerated Biomedical Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received his medical degree from Albany Medical College.

 

Dr. Federici completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the Geisinger Medical Center and then completed advanced training in retina and vitreous surgery as a Fellow at the Foundation for Retinal Research in New Orleans. He served on the medical school faculties at the University of South Carolina and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he pursued both clinical practice and resident teaching. Dr. Federici’s work has been published in major medical journals and textbooks and has been presented at medical conferences. He serves on the staff of Albany Memorial Hospital and St. Peter's Hospital.
